Goal Saturday for July

Hi, Fitness Friends!
Wherever you may be....let me know if you hit your goal yet, or will tomorrow.
Results so far today....
Michele:   12 workouts       Got it yesterday!
Mike:        10 workouts since returning from Italy     with tomorrows morning basketball, done!
Terrence:   Too far from 172 lb goal, worked out 5 days this week!

I will do better job this coming month of communicating with you individually....and seeing who's in and who just needs a little encouragement....hope your 4th of July celebrations went well.  Enjoy!

Anyone Still Out There?

Reset and Renew

Hey, Fitness Family!
If you're still on track for your June Goal, keep going, and let us know how you're doing, but if you're  like most this month, it's a good month to take a break, and reset, refresh and renew your commitment to your own fitness goals.....and set a new goal for July.

Results Thus Far for April Saturday Goal

Hi, Again, Fitness Family:
I know we are all busy and had many events this weekend, so I haven't heard from everyone yet.  Please email or text or post here your results.  I also realize many of you are now past the 1 year mark, so the motivation/goal may need some distinct change in order to keep it fresh and inspiring...let me know any ideas you have along those lines.

Early Reporting Friday

Yesterday, Rick reported in...congrats!  Made his 179 goal the hard way....insanity and 5 mile run at night!  I barely made mine (170) too, and Michele hit her 12 workouts...no problem.  How's everyone else doing?  Tim said on Wed eve he was really close!  Post or email or text....thanks!

Goal Saturday! Perfect Before Easter!

Revision to March Results

So sorry to Dave Toyota! He had reported in early with photo of scale on Friday that he had surpassed his goal and hit 227....total of 19 lbs lost so far while with our group!  Great job, Dave!  My bad on missing this.  He is doing so well, and continues to inspire us all with his constant improvement.

How We Doing? Good Results So Far!

Great Results So Far for those who have reported in.  Mike's 1st month back, hit it!  218!  Galen and Lisa--awesome!  Galen maintained weight and did 20 Workouts!  20!  Lisa hit goal of 10 workouts!  Michele got her goal of 12 workouts!  Last night Tim was 1 lb  away from Goal.  I hit goal of maintaining 170.

Goal Saturday or Early Friday Reporting This Week!

Aloha, All!
Yes, we have almost everyone back participating again.  John Foy emailed me and is back in....3 workouts per week!  I saw Terri and Michele walking their 2nd lap around Ala Moana Park last week after Cindy had completed a run around the park with them (she had to go pick up the boys).  Don't know if Terri is back officially, but it was good to see her out there again.

Results Weekend is coming up!  Let's go.  Let me know if I have your goal stated correctly here or in the previous post.  Looking forward to seeing the texts and emails on Friday and Saturday.

More Inspiration........from the Haneda Family!

I am taking liberty again (hope you don't mind Galen and Lisa) in sharing the Haneda's success in completing their February goals....

"Because I went back to work in January, my goal was to continue WORKING OUT vs. maintaining a weight type goal.

Lisa completed her goal of 12 workouts (we did many together) and I set a goal 20 workouts which I hit 2 days ago.  Like Dave, I also went to see my doctor this past week and he was surprised to see how much my cholesterol, blood sugar and weight dropped since the last time I saw him."

Measureable, tangible, solid results!  So awesome!  Thanks for sharing Galen!

This makes it all worthwhile!

I hope Dave doesn't mind me sharing this email he wrote to Rick yesterday...I just have to post it because it shows what this group is all about....friends helping each other toward a healthier, happier lifestyle.  So Awesome, Dave and Rick (thanks for getting Dave involved with us!)

"I went to Dr. Chun today for a check up and he praised me for the first time. The blood test produced personal bests for weight, cholesterol, LDL, glucose, and A1C (3 month sugar average). Thanks for getting me involved with the hui. He was even more astonished because this was coming after the holidays. It was an excellent idea to just maintain our weight for the two months during the holidays.
I'm still about 4 lbs away for this Saturday. Good luck to you.

Goal Saturday and SuperBowl Sunday Coming Up!

My apologies....I have been moving and off work these past 2 weeks, and just got back to work yesterday...whew...don't ever move!  It sucks!  But the unintended side effect is I didn't have time to eat since I was running around so much (terrible way to maintain weight). 

Anyways, here we are again....Goal Saturday (and early reporting tomorrow) is upon us.  And what great incentive we have this week:   After we ALL hit our goals on Saturday, we can really enjoy the Superbowl on Sunday and INDULGE!  Since I have been so out of touch with everyone, please check the goals below, and correct it or contact  me and I can update.

Jan. weigh in

Hi all,
Whew, made my goal to maintain 179 for the holidays! Good luck everyone!

Early Reporting Today! And Goal Saturday tomorrow!

How exciting!  Or excruciating, huh?  I know it was super tough this month, especially this week....had to push hard and almost starve some days, but made it!  See photo . 

Congratulations to Galen also...he emailed me early this morning and went below his actual goal of 183. See other photo also.

Lisa is maintaining goal of 8 workouts for month, and Dave is maintaining his weight of 229 this month.

How's everyone else doing?  I know you're all sprinting to the finish....just let me know.  Looking forward to all the results.

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone enjoyed their New Year's Eve and New Year's Day parties and celebrations!

The beginning of 2012 gives us all a chance to tally up our successes of 2011, and reset our goals for 2012.

Time to recharge everyone!  No more excuses!  Party time is pau....especially with our goal day coming up quickly on Saturday.

I know most of us committed to maintenance goals, but just reconfirm with me and i can post this week before Saturday.  I know some of us have quite a long way to go...but we can do it!
