Summer's Almost Here, and Our Next Goal Date Too!

Howzit, everyone!  Sorry, I haven't posted anything for awhile...school's ending for all of our kids, or some are back from college, and it is a busy, exciting time for sure!  It's easy to get "too busy" to workout or be diligent about our diets, but don't let that happen! Keep up the good work, and get ready for next Saturday's Goal Date.  And please, post your progress so we all can celebrate your hard work, or email me or Mike to post it for you.

DaBigBigBoy and Steph Dial In!

Aaaah....modern day communication systems...don't you love em?  Or at least understand how they work?  Well, now i have gotten a text that was missed and an email that finally arrived.  AND WE ARE 100% AGAIN IN MAY!  Dave T (DaBIgBigBoy) emailed that he hit his goal of 241 (Actual 240.__), and Steph hit goal of ten 30 minute minimum workout sessions in April....and she lost 2.8 lbs!  Increased exercise sessions to 45-60 minutes each, and she is doing tennis, jogging and Zumba. 

Wow, Gang!  Impressive....everyone has hit their goals thus far this year....let's all keep it going!  If you haven't posted or communicated your June goal, please do so....keep it up!

Podagee Posting for Yomama

Hi everyone! Sorry, still haven't figured out how to post a blog yet. Anyway, happy to say I have met my first goal (12 workouts this month) and exceeded it by one workout session! Much mahalos to my "sisters", Dapinkfitnessgal and Mrs. Wannabefit, for getting me through my first month. Also, thanks to the Wannabefits for opening up the Saito Gym to us and Coach for encouragement and the P90X workouts (ugh!). Next month my goal is to do 12 1-hour workout videos AND walk/run around Ala Moana Park at least one day. Happy workouts everyone!

Way to go!

Great job everyone! Congratulations!

Out on injury status for the first month and a half was hard, and I just want to say getting back this past month has made me appreciate every workout that much more. Especially working out at Saito Gym with my two "BEBs" (Best Exercise Buddies--YoMama and Mrs. WannaBeFit). It just wasn't the same exercising without you folks (missed all of our moans and "ughs!"). Lots of laughter and fun, I couldn't ask for anything more; that's what this is all about. Thank you all for being such an inspiration!

may results

Ok everyone I weighed in at 189.4 this morning. Over two months have lost just over 6 lbs. Goal for next month 187.

Hardass fitness is still kicking my butt. But don't know if my ass is getting any harder. The hardest part is to get the mechanics of what they are doing correct. My cardio is just ok and but the ever changing excercises are hard to master. Slowly getting better at getting the correct form but have a long way to go.

Mike, great season too bad about last night. Interesting that the matches were 50-50 for the season.

By the way, thanks for your kind wishes through the volleyball season.

The boys gave a valiant effort, but KS was the better team last night. We played them three times this season...a total of 11 sets; they won 6, we won 5. I think if we played 100 times it would be 50-50...

Anyway, I'll have more time for fitness now!

Wow! I surprised myself with this one...

When I woke up I weighed in at 216.2...

Three basketball games and one EA Active workout later...212.4! (Of course, it's sweat and water weight but I haven't seen 212 for a while!)

Hope you all had similar luck...I mean, success!

June 4th Goal: I may regret this later, but I'll set it at 210.

4th Quarter and OT

I am excited about this week's weigh in because everyone is so dedicated. My method is to not drink as much and ride my bike. Nice seeing you at the Fair.
