Goals

Goal info in coming in nicely....if you haven't updated me, please email or text or post here!  I will post soon.  BTW, since i just set my fitness goal yesterday, can i reset it today?  Found out yesterday, i am too ambitious too soon....how's about 2 miles at the 9.5 min/mile pace?  Keep up the hard work everyone!

Since the boys have basketball practice today from 4:40-6:30 at Iolani, I am going to run from Iolani lower school courts to/around Kapiolani park, starting between 4:30-5pm....anyone care to join me?  lmk....call or text 291-9500.  Saturday, here we come!

July Goal Date!

Howzit, Everyone! 
June's been a crazy month again for a lot of people! Me, included! 

The great thing is the July 4th weekend is coming up!  What better motivation than to hit your July Goal this Saturday, then indulge and celebrate your achievement on the rest of the holiday weekend.  Party Time!  We will all deserve it.

One favor to ask please?  Can you all post or email me your July Goals once again please?  I have some, but I don't think all, and I don't want to make a mistake. Tim is on travel/injury leave for July Goal date, but everyone else is participating.  Let me know, and I will compile info and post it once again, since this is our important week to focus on the finish line on Saturday.

BTW, my goal is to maintain 170 lb weight, and run three miles minimum at a 9 1/2 minute per mile pace.

As previously mentioned, this past month was a really hard one for a lot of people...especially at the end....so many things happening all at once!  And therefore, our success rate remains very high....82%, but not perfect like before.  We are indeed human as an entire group.  And that's why we are all here---supporting each other, helping each other, pushing each other to stay on course.  So we have a little money in the pot now....let's keep it that way!
I will post next months goals in another post....too tired now, gotta get some rest!

June Goal Day is Here!

Hi, everyone!  I know this was a very hard week for a lot of our group....last week of school, prepping for 6th grade promotion, memorial day weekend parties/food, prepping for travel for some.....but I know you are all working super hard on hitting your goals!  It was a tough one for me too....but hit my weight goal (although minimally) late Friday eve/early now Saturday morning.  Hope you're all doing well when you read this......look forward to the posts, emails and texts of your success today!

last chance work out

Was at Iolani waiting for basketball practice so tried to make my own "hardass" work out. This would be a sample of what happens there. If you have nothing to do while you wait for your kids you can try this........
warm up - 4 x around track. I ran in lane 5 for the 50 somethings you can choose your lane
work out -
- run (walk, crawl as necessary) all the stairs in the stands
- 10 burbies (down, push up, up, jumping jack)
- 1 lap around track
4 reps.

This was inspired after seeing Terrance's ripped body at the Iolani pool yesterday.
